The Social Distancing Lounge (SDL) is a black owned quarantine project. During our home state of Michigan’s Stay-at-Home order, DJ TaCo hosted live DJ sets. We called this online space “The Social Distancing Lounge.” It was a space where you could forget your cares for a moment and just enjoy good music. After the first few sets, we were flooded with inquiries. Everyone wanted to know where DJ TaCo was getting his unique shirts. He was making them in our apartment! We took this interest and ran with it. SDL now hosts an online store stocked with apparel that's meaningful to us. Here at SDL, we believe in purpose - that’s why 10% of proceeds each month are donated.
